A leading risk specialist group is expanding and is looking for an exceptional Business Intelligence professional to be responsible for the build and deployment of a data warehouse.

This is an exciting project which will see you start from the ground up to reshape existing on-premises elements into a secure, streamlined cloud-based product. You will be working with Azure and Power BI so experience with those tools is essential. You will be working closely with some of the industry’s best minds to provide invaluable insights to decision makers, and will also be engaging with local and international insurers.

Some data cleansing is involved; however, this role is primarily focused on evolving the data warehouse. Currently, this opportunity is for a 3-month contract but there are potential long-term opportunities for the right candidate.

Your resume will be able to demonstrate:

• At least 3 years Business Intelligence experience in a similar capacity within the financial services sector (insurance preferred)
• An understanding of the professional risks market
• Technical capabilities using Power BI, Azure, SQL and SSIS/SSRS/SSAS
• Ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and decision makers
• High level interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong teamwork and workflow management skills
