Due to growth, our client, an international loss adjusting company, requires the services of an experienced Senior Loss Adjuster in the energy, construction and mining sectors. Minimum 8 years loss adjusting in these areas, or 2 of these 3 areas. This is a senior role and the salary will be commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience. It is expected that you would have high-level customer focus and maintain existing client relations via client contact on a regular basis.

The Role

• Predominantly field based adjusting and all activities that go with this
• Manage a portfolio of significant losses in the energy, construction and mining sectors
• Ensure timely finalisation of losses
• Investigate causes of loss
• Provide comprehensive reports to insurers including dissemination of liability and reserving
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders including clients, solicitors, brokers, claimants etc.
• Proactive approach to claims settlement

The Person

• Minimum 8 years loss adjusting experience ideally across energy, construction and mining or 2 of the 3
• High-level knowledge of insurance terminology and familiarity with ISR policy conditions
• High-level customer focus
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised and able to managing competing priorities
