An exciting and challenging opportunity for a Senior Liability Loss Adjuster to join an innovative international loss adjusting company has arisen.

Candidates for this position will need to be experienced in the investigation, assessment and adjustment of complex liability claims and ideally hold loss adjusting qualifications and AICLA memberships.

To succeed in this role you must be able to demonstrate excellent analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills as well as accurate and professional report writing.

The Role

• The key function of this role is to investigate and report on a wide variety of liability claims including property damage and personal injury matters
• Onsite investigations and surveys will be conducted and interstate travel may be required [infrequently]
• You will form enduring relationships with clients and liaise frequently with all relevant stakeholders; brokers, solicitors, various experts as appropriate to achieve satisfactory resolution of claims within policy terms and conditions
• Realistic, reserving and reserve adjustments will be provided to clients; a high-level of customer service focus is required

The Person

• At least 10 years experience in managing liability claims and/or liability loss adjusting is required
• You must hold a current Australia Driver’s Licence
• Be motivated and customer focused to ensure provision of accurate and timely reports
• High-level negotiation skills
• Superior knowledge of liability insurance policies [including but not limited to Public, Products, Trustee, PI, etc]
• Professional presentation
• Legal qualifications well regarded - not essential
